“The Kerchief ” is a short story about family life in a traditional Jewish household in Galicia, birthplace of the author who
later immigrated to Israel. S.Y. Agnon was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1966 and is one of the leading figures
in modern Hebrew fiction. Roslyn Alexander has appeared on professional stages in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
