Who Are We?Temple Sholom’s Sisterhood is a dynamic community of women that supports the mission and values of our congregation by connecting women of all ages through spirituality, social action, worship, study, fun and friendship.

What is WRJ?The Temple Sholom Sisterhood is part of Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), a network of 65,000 women in 500 Sisterhoods in the United States, Canada, Israel and South Africa. Collectively WRJ supports Reform Jewish youth through NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth), future rabbis through scholarship assistance to Hebrew Union College, and programs in Israel for both children and adults. Stronger together, with one voice, WRJ advocates for social justice for women, families, and Jews around the world.
Should I still join if I’m too busy to attend programs?
Your financial support is instrumental in supporting important social action and a wide range of programs at Temple Sholom, as well as at the national and international levels.
How do I Join?
There are four different membership levels as well as the opportunity to provide a gift membership for your daughter(s), granddaughter(s), and other special girls in your life age 18 and under.
