The Sisterhood at Temple Sholom.

Who Are We?
Temple Sholom’s Sisterhood is a dynamic community of women that supports the mission and values of our congregation by connecting women of all ages through spirituality, social action, worship, study, fun and friendship.

Why Participate?
Participation in Temple Sholom’s Sisterhood will provide you with a community within a community of multi-generational women who will enrich and inspire your life. Our diverse programming appeals to current interests affecting women today. Enriching programs include holiday celebrations, unique Shabbat services, "Insights" discussions led by our Temple Sholom Clergy liaison, Rabbi Shoshanah Conover, book clubs, social action opportunities, cooking demonstrations, mother/daughter events and other community building opportunities.

What is WRJ?
The Temple Sholom Sisterhood is part of Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), a network of 65,000 women in 500 Sisterhoods in the United States, Canada, Israel and South Africa. Collectively WRJ supports Reform Jewish youth through NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth), future rabbis through scholarship assistance to Hebrew Union College, and programs in Israel for both children and adults. Stronger together, with one voice, WRJ advocates for social justice for women, families, and Jews around the world.

Should I still join if I’m too busy to attend programs?
