Temple Sholom of Chicago's Board Installation and Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat Service
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to Follow

Shabbat Service at 6:15 p.m.
Join us for a special Shabbat Service to install our Board of Directors and honor all our Temple Sholom volunteers. A special dinner sponsored in part by the Temple will be served after Services. We invite all members of our community who have volunteered their time to support Temple Sholom (Board Members, Committee Members, Ambassadors, Monday Meal helpers and anyone else who has volunteered at the Temple) to attend.
Volunteers, please plan to make your reservation with a contribution of at least $5 per person. Guests and other congregants are invited to attend with a contribution of $20 per person. Make reservations by Thursday, May 22, with Jennifer Adams at 773-435-1557 or jenniferl@sholomchicago.org.

WRJ Annual Dinner Celebration
Tuesday, Jun 3, 6:30 p.m.
Celebrate the year of wonderful programming and welcome the new Board at a French Bistro in Lincoln Park (details to come). A three-course delicious meal will be served in our own private room. All WRJ members are invited to join in the festivities. Rabbi Conover and the WRJ leadership will share their thoughts on the 2008/09 year and welcome member input.
Cost is the same as last year: $35 all-inclusive for three courses, soft drink, coffee, tip and tax. Cash bar will be available. Sponsors are welcomed at $50.

3rd Annual "10,000 Steps" Walk for Social Justice

Join the Social Action Committee outdors on this beautiful Sunday morning for a walk along the lake. This is our 3rd Annual Walk for Social Justice and all funds from the $15 adult pre-registration fee go to support our weekly Monday Meal for Those Less Fortunate in Lakeview. Whether you walk 10 steps or 10,000, please join us. Children, dogs and anything that rolls are most welcome!
