more volunteers for serving should arrive by 5 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged, also, to stay for the entire time.[/i]**
Volunteers are needed to shop, prepare, serve, and clean up, as well as prepare bag "meals" for guests to take home and for any overflow crowd. Less...
Recently, Temple Sholom has greatly expanded the programs and Services we offer for people in their 20s and 30s.
"Sushi
Shabbat" Friday nights have been going really well, and other activities — like bowling nights, and organized social action trips — are planned for the future. Also, as a part of a charitable effort, the group often hosts a meal to feed the hungry in our community. New programs are being developed all the time and we always welcome thoughts, ideas, and additional volunteers.
For more information, contact Rabbi Taron Tachman, our rabbinic liaison, at 773.525.4707 or via email at
rabbitachman@sholomchicago.org.
We look forward to meeting you!
