Join the Sisterhood of Temple Sholom and our partner JCAST (Jewish Coalition Against Sex Trafficking) to learn about how sex trafficking is devastating thousands of young lives around world –and how we can be part of the solution.

Sex trafficking is the third largest international crime industry.  The average age of victims is 12-14 years old, and over 100,000 children are sold annually around the world, including here in our own community.

We’ll socialize over a light dinner, then look at this issue from a Jewish perspective, hear from the experts at JCAST about the current situation in Chicago and worldwide, and learn how the internet has made this crime easier to commit and more difficult to prosecute.  We’ll also discover what we can do to help.

Invite other women in your life to attend, including girls of high school age or older.  Your $36 suggested donation will go towards helping JCAST in its efforts to combat sex trafficking through education and social action. Click here to make your donation.
