High Holy Days

All are welcome at Temple Sholom for the High Holy Days, but tickets are required. Download a ticket order form to request High Holy Day tickets. Additional forms are available for handicapped parking and child care reservations.

Yamim Noraim literally means the "Days of Awe." This refers to the High Holy Days, specifically Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and is marked by a ten-day period of time during which we engage in prayer, introspection, repentance and fasting.

Rosh Hashanah marks the Jewish New Year. Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement.
