Mazel Tov on your new arrival! The first lifecycle event of your child’s life, and yours as a parent, is a time of incomparable joy. This life changing milestone is celebrated with a sacred ritual, often shared with family and the Congregation. Each family has a unique circumstance we look forward to creating with the Clergy.
As a privilege of membership, Members may call on the Rabbis and Cantor to officiate and/or use the Temple facilities in observance of life cycle events.
There are many instances when, for reasons of family togetherness or geographical circumstances, a life cycle observance is desired at Temple Sholom although the central participants live elsewhere. Our basic requirement is that the family must be affiliated with a synagogue, not necessarily with Temple Sholom. All privileges due to Temple Sholom members will be extended as courtesy in appropriate circumstances to family members who are affiliated with another congregation.
