In the spring of 2013, we joined with 12 other local synagogues in the Chicagoland Synagogue Survey project administered by the consulting firm, Measuring Success. The core survey has now been completed by over 15,000 congregants across North America comprising a database of over 40 synagogues of various sizes
Last time we heard from you in the 2013 survey these four categories emerged as priorities:
• Vision and Values of synagogue and clergy resonate
• Opportunity to make meaningful social connections
• Religious School/B’nai Mitzvah Program
• Physical Space
When we originally signed on to the project, it was with the intention of surveying our congregation again in the spring of 2015 to measure our progress. And here we are!
Please be on the lookout during the week of April 20 for your email invitation to complete the survey. The clergy, staff and lay leadership are in active listening mode so we hope you will take this opportunity to let us know how we’re doing.
