A Time to Plan

While many tend to postpone making arrangements, discussion of pre-planning burial needs with Westlawn ahead of time has many benefits. In addition to bringing peace of mind to families at a very trying time, pre-planning is practical as well. Reserving your own and your family's personal space in advance assures that your choices are honored and that you are protected against increased burial costs. Westlawn counselors understand the complexities and challenges in dealing with the loss of a loved one. We will respectfully discuss your needs and plans and make every effort to provide the best personal assistance when making your decision.

Complete Memorial Assistance

Westlawn's counselors will assist you in selecting a fitting memorial or monument to honor the memory of your loved one. Choose from a wide selection of custom stone monuments, etched forever in fine granite or bronze. You may also choose a living memorial. Westlawn is pleased to provide seasonal plantings with several available options.

Special Care

"Special Care" is Westlawn's care program that assures both lasting beauty and your peace of mind. Our attention will be constant, year after year, without the worry of escalating prices.
From traditional burial to mausoleum entombment, our dedicated counselors can assist you in exploring these alternatives.

Presenting Chicago's Newest Mausoleum'

To better serve the growing needs of our community, Westlawn began work in 1998 on its newest addition, the multiphase Westlawn Mausoleum. One of the finest mausoleums in the Midwest, this beautiful, modern monument provides a comfortable setting for family members to pay their respects and honor loved ones. Peace and honor surround you upon entering the sun-filled atrium. From the artful blending of marble and granite to the warmth of natural sunlight, elements of earth and sky combine to create a special timeless tribute. The first of several phases of development was completed in 1999. Phase II began in October of 2001. Entombment options range from areas devoted to family and loved ones, to couch crypts. Upon final completion, the mausoleum at Westlawn will feature approximately 4,000 crypts. Our professional staff will be glad to provide you with additional details of our offerings.

A Matter of Personal choice

While burial preferences vary from person to person, mausoleum entombment is becoming increasingly popular. In order to serve the needs of today's and future generations, Westlawn is committed to providing Jewish families with a choice of options.
