3rd Grade Yom Horim (Parents' Day)

Sunday, January 23, 2022 21 Sh'vat 5782

9:45 AM - 12:00 PMCradles to Crayons

We are excited to invite 3rd grade parents for some hands-on Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) with a trip to volunteer at Cradles to Crayons on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 9:45 AM for our Yom Horim (Parents' Day). Advance Registration was required for this event by January 6, with limited space available. Due to their health & safety protocols, Cradles to Crayons can only accommodate 30 people on this trip. Registration was first-come, first served, and we will offer a second opportunity on a future Sunday if needed.

Our 3rd Grade curriculum this year is focused on Holiness, based on the third book of Torah, Vayikra (Leviticus). Students are exploring holy times, places, people, objects, and actions over the course of the year. Our Yom Horim program will focus on holy actions, by participating in a family social justice project. This program offers a great opportunity to connect with other 3rd grade parents and to engage in conversation with your child about the realities of the world, as well as parent conversations with Rabbi Conover.

We hope to see you for this special family event! If you are unable to attend, your child is still welcome to participate with the class, but they will need to be registered.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
