Join Adult Education, Shalem, and Sholom Justice for a virtual visit of Mandela: Struggle for Freedom (currently at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center). This exhibit, which features immersive environments, traces the history of the fight against apartheid in South Africa, with Nelson Mandela as one of its central figures.  Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 and South Africa’s first democratically elected president in 1994, Mandela promotes human rights with a clear message: all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
