6:30 PM - 8:00 PMIn Person at Temple SholomBrought to you by Resetting the Table
We know just how charged this political moment can be for so many of us. Much feels at stake in this election, including the fracturing of our own personal relationships and our Jewish community as a whole.
At Temple Sholom, we believe the art of narrative can be an essential tool in combating the increasing polarization of this country and our communities. By choosing to center our shared humanity, rather than what divides us, we commit to building a better and stronger future. With this mission in mind and with the help of Resetting the Table, an organization dedicated to helping to bridge divides, we are excited to bring you a special evening of stories and community in a Moth-inspired storytelling experience.
Step into BPH, our storyslam nightclub, and settle in with a friend and a cocktail/mocktail or warm beverage for the full experience. By the end of the night, we hope you'll have at least one new connection, and an up-close look into what keeps us together.
This event will spotlight community members performing personal stories reflecting diverse American experiences, including moments of inspiration, struggle, humor, and transformation. In addition to hearing from our incredible storytellers, you'll have the chance to reflect on your own stories and connect with those around you. The evening will allow people to share their diverse stories and connect across a wide range of backgrounds and views.
This event is free, but please register so we can plan accordingly.
