This discussion will help us find clarity and vision as we stand on the doorstep of the High Holidays and election season. Our panelists will guide us as we grapple with this season of judgment, reckoning, and uncertainty, the uncertainty we feel as Jews and as a nation. This discussion is being convened to inspire dialogue and expand our perspective, by listening and being challenged. We hope that this discussion will serve as a spiritual buoy during this tumultuous season.
Our discussion will be moderated by Jodi Rudoren, editor-in-chief of The Forward, and will feature Rabbi David Minkus, the rabbi of Congregation Rodfei Zedek and founder of Mercaz; Rabbi Jill Jacobs, the CEO of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights; and Rabbi Shoshanah Conover, the Senior Rabbi of Temple Sholom.
The discussion will begin at 11am. Come early to enjoy a nosh at Mercaz Market, our popup cafe featuring baked goods from local chefs Dylan Maysick of Diaspora Dinners and Hannah Altshuler of Everyday Feast. The market will open at 10:15am!
