Purim Carnival

Celebrate Purim with us! Enjoy hamantaschen, a lively Purim Shpiel, fun games, and fantastic prizes, all while supporting our Religious School and youth groups. Don't miss this vibrant, festive gathering!

Children 5 and up will begin the day at 10:00 AM for the Purim Shpiel in the Sanctuary. Families with children 0-4 years old are invited to the carnival beginning at 10:00 AM, and later the carnival will be open to kids of all ages.

Younger grades will parade out of the sanctuary and attend the carnival around 10:30 AM. Older kids will do other fun, Purim related activities from 10:45 AM - 11:15 AM and then join the carnival. 

Parents are invited to join the Purim Shpiel / Megillah Reading from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM in the sanctuary. Parents are also invited to stay for the entire carnival. All adults are FREE!

Tickets and delicious carnival snacks available for purchase below! Come in costume!

Register in advance for Purim Carnival tickets and snack packages to save time and help us plan. Purchases will also be available on site.

Each child- $25
**We charge a fee in order to subsidize the cost of this event, but finances should never be a barrier to participation. If the fee for this event is cost-prohibitive for you, please reach out to Lori Kramer at lorikramer@sholomchicago.org to discuss options. Your presence is important to us, and we will make every effort to make sure you can attend!
$5/per snack package. Each snack package includes two snacks (options will include hamentaschen, snow cones, popcorn, snack bags, and drinks). Snack packages will be available for purchase on site as well.
Donations go towards Religious School and youth group programming. Thank you!
100% of proceeds from the Purim Carnival go towards Religious School and youth group programming!
