Together, we will study the stories and meaning of the food connected to the holiday while also learning and sharing cooking tips and tricks. These classes are being taught in partnership with RJ on the Go, a new virtual teaching platform for the Reform movement, and supported by a grant from the Synagogue Vegan Challenge. They are open to Temple Sholom members, as well as Jews around the country and world!

- 1 pound russet potatoes (roughly 3 medium)*
- 1/2 cup shredded onion (roughly 1/2 a small cooking onion)*
- 1/3 cup aquafaba (or 1 can of chickpeas)*
- 1/2 cup flour (your choice)
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 to 1 tsp sea salt
- Oil
- 3 Granny Smith apples*
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- Vanilla extract
- 1 lemon*
