Yom Kippur Family Service

Saturday, October 12, 2024 10 Tishrei 5785

9:00 AM - 10:00 AMOnline and in person

Join Temple Sholom for a meaningful and thought-provoking service in which parents and children can honor Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the annual Jewish observance of fasting, prayer, and repentance. Yom Kippur is considered the holiest day on the Jewish calendar. As we embark on the new year, 5784,  which began on Rosh Hashanah, we invite families with children 12 and under to join this service.

We offer childcare for children up to age 0-9. We are planning to have multiple babysitting rooms open during our congregational services based on the age of the child (infants, toddlers, and school age).

Childcare will be offered on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Thursday, Oct. 3, and Yom Kippur, Saturday, Oct. 12, starting at 10:45 AM. Early registration for childcare is mandatory. Be sure to register by Sept. 19. Childcare will only be offered if there is sufficient interest and registration. Register here.
