How to register for Religious School and CFHS 

  1. Log into your Temple Sholom Shulcloud account at www.sholomchicago.org by clicking "Log In" or by clicking your name in the top-right corner of this page, then click “My Personal Account” under your name in the navigation bar.* 
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to “My School Information” 
  3. Click on “Start School Enrollment” 
  4. Enter your child(ren)’s last name 
  5. Select “2025-26 Religious School” 
  6. Complete the form and confirm your payment.

Requirements & Deadlines

  • Registration opens on Thursday, June 5, along with 2025-2026 membership renewal.
  • Only current members of Temple Sholom who have completed their 2025-2026 membership renewal can participate in Religious School and Crown Family High School. Your Religious School registration will not be confirmed until membership is renewed. 
  • B’nai Mitzvah students must be enrolled in Religious School or Jewish Day School. 
  • No deposit is required for Religious School registration. Instead, you will be instructed to set up a payment plan OR make payment in full. Registration will not be complete without selecting one of these choices.
  • Beginning Thursday, July 10, prices increase $150 per student. Space is limited. Please register early and help us use the summer efficiently to hire teachers, order supplies, and make class lists. 
  • Class placement (“buddy”) requests are due when you register.  We can only accommodate mutual requests. All class placement requests must be made by Thursday, July 10.  
  • Please be prepared to register all of your children when you register, including for Crown Family High School. 
  • The Midweek Online Hebrew options will be based on skill level. All students must be evaluated (a short, online or in person meeting before classes begin) to determine which group they are eligible for. Classes will be based on sufficient enrollment and are subject to change. Class times and dates will be available in August. 

Structure of Upcoming Year 

  • Junior Kindergarten-2nd Grade meets on Sundays from 9:30am-12:00pm. 
  • 3rd-7th Grade meets on Sundays from 9:30am-12:00pm and Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15pm.
  • 8th Grade opportunities will be offered throughout the year. 
  • Crown Family High School (9th-12th Grade) meets on Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm. 

Start dates:

  • Sunday Religious School begins on Sunday, September 7.  
  • Midweek Religious School begins on Wednesday, September 10. 
  • Crown Family High School begins on Wednesday, October 8.

Register before Thursday, July 10 and save $150 per student! 

Registering early also helps us use the summer to prepare for the school year.

How do I request (or give) financial assistance for Religious School fees?

If you are in a position to do so, please consider contributing an additional gift with your tuition, which supports the 40% of Religious School tuition typically supplemented by the Temple budget. You can add a gift within registration.
