Join us for our annual Sholom Justice Shabbat featuring Dr. David A. Ansell. Dr. Ansell is the author of The Death Gap: How Inequality Kills (2021). He will be speaking about his book and the stark disparities in our nation's healthcare system through the lens of the vast difference between high and low life expectancies for different neighborhoods here in Chicago.  For our second part of our Winter Learning Series, as we discuss Dr. David Ansell's book, The Death Gap: How Inequality Kills. This discussion will be led by one of our Sholom Justice Co-Chairs, Dr. Matthew Major, PhD, Prof. of Physical Med. & Rehab, and one of our dedicated volunteers and member of the COVID-19 Task Force at Temple Sholom, Dr. Wendy Brown, MD. Reading the book beforehand is encouraged, but not required. This event is also free & open to the public, but registration is required.
