JK-2nd Grade Junior Congregation and Consecration

Sunday, October 26, 2025 4 Cheshvan 5786

11:15 AM - 11:50 AMIn-person at Temple Sholom

Consecration is a celebration of the beginning of one's formal Jewish Education. Here at Temple Sholom, we hold Consecration for any new Religious School students in JK-2nd grades. We want to make this a special moment of celebration for our students and our families.

The ceremony will take place during Religious School, as part of our first Junior Congregation of the year.  All JK-2nd grade families are invited and encouraged to attend!

Register

All parents of JK-2nd grade students are invited to attend this monthly service with our clergy. You are welcome and encouraged to attend and celebrate with our consecration students (even if your child is not a new student).
Consecration is ONLY for students in JK-2nd grade who are new to our Religious School. This is our way of welcoming our students to their formal Jewish education. Here at Temple Sholom, we consecrate newcomers in JK-2nd grades.
