Sholom at Home

Creating Intentional Small Kehillot (Communities)

This year, we are investing in creating a robust culture of micro-communities at Temple Sholom. These self-led, flexible groups are an opportunity to help make our large community feel more intimate, and create deeper connections with other Temple Sholom members in similar life stages within neighborhoods.

By centering gatherings around Shabbat lunches, neighborhood walks, and potlucks, members can feel grounded in Jewish time and the friendships they forge, both at Temple Sholom and in their own homes.

We call this initiative Sholom at Home.

Right now, Sholom at Home is only available to community members who are logged in for privacy concerns. If you do not have an account with us and are interested in getting involved, please contact our Manager of Strategic Engagement & Membership, Jude Kamler at jude@sholomchicago.org

If you have questions about the Sholom at Home initiative, please reach out to Rabbi Gellman at rabbigellman@sholomchicago.org and Jude Kamler at jude@sholomchicago.org.
