Fall 2025: A Four-Session Cohort for Men in Our Community
Temple Sholom is pleased to announce the formation of a Men's Collective—a unique opportunity for those identifying as men in our congregation to come together in meaningful conversation and community.
What Is the Men's Collective?
The Men's Collective is a safe, supportive space where men can openly explore their lived experiences, share insights, and engage in honest dialogue about the journey of modern masculinity in the context of Reform Judaism. This small group of up to 15 participants will meet to discuss topics ranging from navigating relationships and parenthood to leadership, building community, and living with purpose.
Why Join?
In our busy lives, we rarely create intentional spaces to connect deeply with other men, share our stories, and listen without judgment. The Men's Collective offers:
- A chance to gain clarity through the wisdom and experience of others
- Space to explore what masculinity means in the 21st century
- An opportunity to build meaningful connections within our Temple community
- A supportive environment to reflect on your own life journey
Session Details
- Format: Each facilitated discussion will be designed to explore distinct topics, with room for exploration
- Facilitated by: David Polmer, ACC (davidpolmer.com)
- Cost: $36 one-time fee for all four sessions
Who Should Join?
This cohort welcomes men of all ages who are:
- Open to listening and learning from others' experiences
- Willing to reflect on their own life journey
- Interested in exploring perspectives on masculinity, faith, and community
- Seeking new communities for connection
