Rebecca Soffer has made significant contributions to elevating and normalizing the conversation around  grief awareness and support. She is the cofounder of Modern Loss, which offers creative, meaningful and encouraging content and community addressing the long arc of grief. She is also the author of the bestselling “The Modern Loss Handbook: An Interactive Guide to Moving Through Grief and Building Your Resilience,” (Running Press, 2022) which Gayle King named a favorite bookof the year, and coauthor of "Modern Loss: Candid Conversation About Grief. Beginners Welcome," (Harper Wave, 2018). Her writing has appeared in outlets such as The New York Times, TIME, and NBC, and she has spoken on loss and resilience with corporate, non-profit, and literary communities around the world.i. Rebecca is a Peabody Award-winning former producer for The Colbert Report and a Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism alumna.

 

 

Please plan to arrive between 6:30-7. Program will be starting promptly at 7pm

 

PLEASE NOTE:

1.An official ID card which could be a drivers license, state ID card and or a passport will be required for entry.

2. Backpacks, briefcases or suitcases WONT be allowed in. Small purses 8 by 8 in size will be allowed in which can be hand carried style or have a small shoulder strap ARE allowed in.  

3. Guests with children who would be carrying a diaper bag should place any essential items in a clear, plastic style  bag. Diaper bag will be tagged and guest will be provided  a claim ticket. 

4.  Parking will be restricted to guests who have mobility issues or have a state issued placard.
