6:15 PM - 7:30 PMOnline and in person

Join us for a Shabbat service like no other, as we welcome Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman, Ph.D., and delve into the defining challenges and opportunities of our time.  Rabbi Hoffman, who also serves as a personal mentor to Rabbi Conover, is celebrated for his leading-edge contributions to contemporary Jewish thought and community life. Together, we'll explore Temple Sholom’s pivotal role in shaping the future of Judaism, engaging in a dialogue that promises to be both challenging and inspiring. Don't miss this unique opportunity to gain insights from one of Judaism's foremost thinkers.

Rabbi Hoffman, ordained in 1969 and holding a doctorate since 1973, has blazed a trail through the landscape of Jewish liturgy and spirituality. As a beloved professor at HUC-JIR/New York for several decades, and the author and editor of over forty books, his works have illuminated the practice of Judaism for countless individuals. His visionary projects, such as "Synagogue 2000," have shaped the very framework of contemporary synagogue life, positioning congregations as moral and spiritual beacons in the 21st century. Learn more about Rabbi Hoffman.

If you can't make our Friday service, Rabbi Hoffman will be attending Shabbat Minyan & Torah Study on Saturday, Mar. 2, at 9:00 AM for further conversation.
