This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, ask questions, and learn more about the values guiding Temple Sholom today.

Elizabeth Samuels founded EMS Consulting to work with mission driven organizations and their Boards to enhance their strategic, fiscal, organizational, risk management and operational capabilities. She has extensive experience leading projects for high growth mission-driven start-ups, social sector not-for-profits, family offices, private foundations, and higher education institutions. Elizabeth is the President of Temple Sholom of Chicago and a Life Trustee of Francis W Parker. Prior board experience includes the Board of Trustees of Francis W Parker School, the Francis W Parker Alumni Association, the National Board of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) and the National Advisory Board for the Center for Adolescent Research and Education (CARE). Elizabeth has extensive volunteer experience with UNICEF, Francis W. Parker School, Friends of Bauler Park, and ran her street’s annual block party for 15 years. She has a BA in History from Syracuse University and an MA in International Affairs from American University. Elizabeth lives in Chicago with her husband and has two adult children.
