The WTS Open House on Lark's

festive covered patio is the best party of the summer!

It’s a very special evening to have fun socializing with amazing temple women of all ages over great food and drink — all free and vegetarian.  Join us for a good time and doing good with social justice projects that support both reproductive justice and voting.

WTS will continue its advocacy for reproductive justice with a raffle to benefit Chicago Abortion Fund (www.chicagoabortionfund.org), an organization that provides financial, logistical and emotional support to people seeking abortion care in Chicago, Illinois and the Midwest. The raffle prizes will showcase some of our favorite Chicago businesses, restaurants, theaters, sporting events and more. Tickets can be purchased at Lark or online when you register for the event.  If you can’t attend, you can still win and support Chicago Abortion Fund by buying tickets online in advance.

This party-with-a-purpose will also support our advocacy for voting. We are partnering with RAC-Illinois’ 2024 Every Voice, Every Vote Campaign (Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, www.rac.org) to write and mail postcards to voters in other states where referendums on reproductive justice are on the ballot.

Vegetarian pizza, salad, dessert and a wide selection of wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks will be on the all-complimentary menu.  

The WTS Open House is the perfect way to celebrate summer, sisterhood, the right to vote and the freedom to choose!

While the event is free, registration is required.

Accessibility Note: to get into the restaurant, there are a few steps and then there are about 10ish steps to get down to the back patio where the party is taking place.
 

Registration & raffle purchase will close on Monday, July 29th at noon. If you wish to purchase raffle tickets after that time, you will be able to do so at the event.
