Madrichim (teacher assistants) help out in Religious School classrooms or office and with Junior Youth Group events! High School students work on Sundays and 8th graders work on Wednesdays.

Madrichim = plural ("Look at all these amazing madrichim!")
Madrich = singular masculine ("Gee whiz, Sam is such a great madrich!")
Madricha = singular feminine ("Goodness me, Esther is such a helpful madricha!")

The required Madrichim & Faculty Orientation will be in early Fall. Official date will be shared soon. A makeup will be required if you're unable to attend the orientation.
Training happens over the summer and is paid
Enrollment in CFHS or another continuing education program (i.e. NFTY, BBYO, USY) is highly recommended for all Temple Sholom Madrichim. CFHS takes place on Wednesday nights during the school year.
By hiring you as a Midweek Madrich(a), it is our expectation that you will be continuing your Jewish education in our 8th Grade program, which meets on Sunday mornings, or if scheduling prohibits, that you will be enrolled or participating in an outside program or class for Jewish teens.
