Monday Meal Mitzvah

The Monday Meal Mitzvah is back in person! Volunteer to prepare and/or serve a warm meal to those in need. This is a great opportunity for anyone 12 years of age and older, who are looking for a meaningful volunteer experience. This is a long standing Temple Sholom/Sholom Justice program, and we are excited to be back. If you are in need of a meal, the Lake Shore Drive doors open at 5:15pm and we suggest you arrive by 4:45pm.

Makom Book Club - December 2025

The Makom Book Club is an opportunity for those ages 21-39 to come together and read books written by Jewish authors or with Jewish themes & subjects. Meetings take place at Wilde Restaurant & Bar over appetizers and feature community-led discussion. Participation is best when at least 1/2 of the book is read before the meeting.
