The Monday Meal Mitzvah is back in person! Volunteer to prepare and/or serve a warm meal to those in need. This is a great opportunity for anyone 12 years of age and older, who are looking for a meaningful volunteer experience. This is a long standing Temple Sholom/Sholom Justice program, and we are excited to be back. If you are in need of a meal, the Lake Shore Drive doors open at 5:15pm and we suggest you arrive by 4:45pm. -

Whether you are fasting or not, those in their 20s & 30s are invited to join us for a pre-Yom Kippur Feast! We will schmooze, eat, light candles, reflect on the year, and make sure you are hydrated and nourished before walking over to Kol Nidre services together. -

Join Temple Sholom for services on this evening when we recite the centuries-old Kol Nidre prayer (an Aramaic declaration meaning “all vows”) at our congregational service, supported by our spectacular cantor, choir, and musicians, as we prepare for Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. -

Join Temple Sholom for a meaningful and thought-provoking service in which parents and children can honor Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the annual Jewish observance of fasting, prayer, and repentance. Yom Kippur is considered the holiest day on the Jewish calendar. As we embark on the new year, 5783, which began on Rosh Hashanah, we invite families with children 12 and under to join this service in person. -
