Wednesday, Nov 5th 5:30p to 7:30p
In moments of tension or confusion, knowing how to act—and how to care—is essential. We will join together for a Rapid Response Training by the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR). We will learn practical steps for community-based safety, communication, and mutual support. Together, we’ll explore ways to look out for one another, understand our rights, and respond calmly and effectively when our neighbors need us most. Learn how to recognize concerning situations, connect with trusted networks, and stand together in solidarity to protect all who call our neighborhoods home. Together, we’ll explore ways to look out for one another, know our rights, and respond calmly and effectively when our most vulnerable neighbors need us most. -
