Mark Oppenheimer holds a Ph.D. from Yale in religious studies, is a former New York Times columnist, the creator of the Unorthodox podcast, and an author of five books. Oppenheimer's work spans the essence of Jewish life, the nuances of American religion, and the complexities of antisemitism. -

The Monday Meal Mitzvah is back in person! Volunteer to prepare and/or serve a warm meal to those in need. This is a great opportunity for anyone 12 years of age and older, who are looking for a meaningful volunteer experience. This is a long standing Temple Sholom/Sholom Justice program, and we are excited to be back. If you are in need of a meal, the Lake Shore Drive doors open at 5:15pm and we suggest you arrive by 4:45pm. -
