Gan Shalom Registration Instructions

Space is limited and classes fill up very quickly. Submit your application today!

Registration deadline is March 1st, 2026. Please note that registration is not guaranteed and applications will continue to be accepted until classes are full. Once a class reaches capacity, you will be notified and added to our waitlist. Families will receive notice of acceptance from Heidi Cooper no later than March 1st, 2026.

To complete all the steps for enrollment, please select the below option that best describes you.

I am a New Family (New to Gan and NOT Temple Sholom members)
I am a Temple Sholom Member and/or Returning Gan Family

New Families
(Families that are new to Gan and are not Temple Sholom members)

Complete the Account Creation Form HERE.
*You must enter your child's information here in addition to your own in order for you to access the registration option on your account*

Once your account has been created, you will receive a communication from Temple Sholom of Chicago to create your password. Click the “Click Here” link in the e-mail.

Enter the password of your choice into the “Login Password” and “Confirm Password” boxes and click “Save Changes to Person” at the bottom of the page. Move to Step 4 to complete enrollment. 

Returning Gan Families and/or Temple Sholom Members

Make sure you are logged into your ShulCloud account at www.sholomchicago.org. 
*If you have any new additions to your family, please make sure to add the child/children to your account*

Click “My Account” located in the menu bar. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and under My School Information click “Start School Enrollment.”

Select “2026-27 Gan Shalom”  from the dropdown underneath "Which term are you enrolling to?" and click the “Continue” button.

Select the age/grade the student will be by September 1, 2026. This will populate the various enrollment options. Select your preference and click ”Continue.”

Enter/confirm your family information and click “Continue to Registration Fee.”

Follow instructions to submit Registration Fee payment. This will officially submit your application. 
The registration fee is $75/student, does not apply to tuition and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Your application will be reviewed and you will receive notification if/when your application is accepted. 
(If the class is full, you will be automatically put on a waitlist)

Once your application is accepted, you will be billed the full tuition and will receive an invoice.

**Payment Policies**

The first tuition payment is due on or before May 1st, 2026. Payment in full or the setup of a payment plan is due by this date in order to secure your child's spot. If you do not set up a payment plan by this date, you will be moved to the waitlist.  All Gan Shalom payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after May 1st, 2026.  Any withdrawal on or before May 1st, 2026 will result in a refund of 75% of monies paid minus the $75 non-refundable deposit. After May 1st, 2026 refunds of any kind will not be available.

Please note, a child’s absence or withdrawal from school for any reason before the conclusion of the school year does not relieve liability for tuition for the balance of the school year.

A one-time class fee will be applied to your child's account in addition to tuition. This fee supports overall security needs, teacher gifts, holiday/classroom celebrations and our yearbook. The fee will be $250 for drop off class students and $125 for parent/child class students.
